I get that Lewisham dont have anything to play for, but this is quite disappointing to see from the perspective of the integrity of the league.
Seems hard to imagine how a club with 79 registered players were unable to field a team...

Forfeiture
I apologise to all the other teams in the Division. Unfortunately I have no good defense. I simply forgot about this match until I noticed it on the morning of the game.
I phoned and texted players to try and raise a team but the first few I contacted were unavailable. Not one higher rated player was available. Nor were any of the players who would normally give lifts to other players. I could probably have raised a team of sorts had I continued down to the bottom of the playing list, but we would have been heavily outgraded and the Match outcome would have been the same anyway, so I didn't see the point to sending 6 players to be cannon-fodder. It wasn't a decision taken lightly as I looked at the League Table and realised the implications of just handing Sidcup the Match.

Thankyou for your apology Martin.
Regardless of the final result Sidcup are well deserved winners of the group.
Its a testament to the competitiveness of this league that all 4 teams in the remaining 2 fixtures can still qualify for the playoffs.
