(1) Is Matthew Lawes-Wickwar's grade correct - I thought Provisional Rapid gradings defaulted to Standard? (2) Paul Cartwright 1400 - shown as 1268 on ECF (3) David Welsh 1973 - is this right as John McAllister thought 1500? Simon W

The LMS system is maintained by the ECF and so can't always display the ratings needed for local competitions. The correct ratings for the following players:

  • Matthew Lawes-Wickar 1619 - no rapidplay K rating therefore standard rating used
  • Paul Cartwright e1400 - no K rapidplay or standard rating therefore agreed estimated 1400 rating used
  • David Welsh 1500 - no rapidplay K rating therefore standard rating used

Manningtree mean = 1686 (rounded from 1686.25)
Saxmundham mean = 1676 (rounded from 1675.5)

Difference <41, therefore winner is team winning on most boards. Saxmundham win!
