Appreciation
I wanted to thank the Bexhill club for their hospitality and the sportsmanship of Michael Hayward and William Tracey for offering a draw after one of our players got flagged in a winning position because of clock malfunction.

Nice to hear about good
Nice to hear about good sporting behaviour we (Crowborough) also had an example of good sportsmanship in our match at Worthing.
I do not know what the clock malfunction was but FIDE do cover this possibility see 6.10 in the FIDE Laws of Chess.
The League Rules are silent on the role of Arbiter as described in the FIDE Laws of Chess but I believe the two captains can act in tandem as the Arbiter - maybe a rule change to this affect is needed
An event such as this could cause a dispute re a players rating or team league position.
