A deserved win for Purbeck who on Boards 2 and 4 to secure the win. Richie did well to gain a draw and Derek Mount found all the defensive answers in an inferior position on Board 3. Always to pleasure to end the evening in the bar with our very congenial hosts despite the loss.

Fun evening
Whilst nice to win the evening showed Dorset chess is not all about winning. We spent nearly a couple of hours after having a drink and a chat. Thanks Poole for a great evening.
