A pleasing win for New Milton; now two out of two.
Tim took advantage of my undeveloped queen's bishop to isolate my rooks, and ruin followed
Ross squeezed past Tony's defences with queen and pawn to threaten an unstoppable mate in one on Tony's KN2.
In the veterans' game (average age 88), a draw was agreed in a tight, complicated position.
Harry played hara kiri with his pawns, and Rachel eased home in a rook and pawn ending wih a malicious pawn on KB7
