Ringwood were heavily out graded but put up stuff resistance and were not without chances on 2 of their Boards .
Board 3 was 1st to finish and with 22 moves played only 1 pawn aside Pawn had been removed from the Board - Gridlock
Steve on board offered the up and coming Ben a draw twice , which was refused twice . Steve pushed home his advantage after a couple of unforced errors
Nathaniel's Game on bd 1 was pretty open and could have gone either way really with Richard pushing 2 connected passed pawns up the Board , but his King was in the open and hunted down.
Simon and Alan played a lively Pirc opening where the Queens come off early and pieces looked awkward. Eventually petering out to a draw .
Thanks Rob & C team for a cordial evenings Chess
