A close match which Ringwood B perhaps deserved to get something out of.
After a quick win for Richard on board 1 for Ringwood B, Southbourne C soon equalised with a nice win for John on board 4. The other 2 boards were less clear and went the full distance with Southbourne C looking better on board 3 and Ringwood B looking better on board 2. Peter managed to convert his game in a better endgame on board 3 to give Southbourne C a 2 - 1 lead. On board 2, it looked as though Rob's attack on the king side would win him the game but out of nowhere, Larissa sacrificed a piece and her major pieces found their way to checkmate Rob's king.
