I did not see too much of Ed's match but he lost fairly quickly.
Simon won a pawn early on and soon overpowered Paul Brackener.
Sam said he had a winning position and blundered it away.
I built up a good kingside attack but could not find the killer punch.It ended up as a rook and pawn endgame in which I had an advantage but I was mentally exhausted and playing on increments so a draw was agreed.
