Dave Aspinall had the better of an ending with two knights and an even number of pawns each - he was able to win pawns from his opponent as a result of having a positional advantage. Lynne lost to Joss Daune. In a game where tactics ebbed and flowed, Geoff was able to create sufficient counterplay to force the draw. Graham was a piece up but lacked K safety so eventually agreed a draw with Andy.
A draw was a fair result on the night.
