So, a successful debut
Certainly the tensest aspect going into the match was whether we could get the team to the venue, so many thanks to Mrs. Phaneuf for her recruitment tour of Plymouth. Board 4 finished quickly to register the school's first game win. But Board 3 followed rapidly & by then Board 1 was a queen ahead. The remaining game might have lasted much longer & we are grateful to the home player for resigning a little early in view of a waiting taxi.
