I am a little late in posting result due to, as most chess players would understand, thinking about my game and getting to sleep some time after 2am !
Yeovil came with a weakended side but in the end Wimborne were happy with a drawn match.
On board 4 Eddie had a strong position early on with his opponents king trapped in the middle and eventually won the game.
Board 1 seemed to favour Richie having most of pressure but Mark managed to equalise.
Board 3 seemed to be going Bill's way but Mark took advantage of a blunder and was close to winning but Bill found a drawing line in a Bishop and pawn against Bishop ending.
On 2 I was equal but foolishly I tried to expand on my solid Queens side and Fernando found a neat sacrifice and went down to an end game which lasted 63 moves but he forced the win.
Well played to Yeovil.
