Highcliffe got off to good start with Dan winning on board 3 after an error by Bailey putting him a piece down. Parity was soon recovered with a win on board 1. Board 2 was a protracted affair and close contest but John managed a win to get Highcliffe Castles off to a good start to the season. An enjoyable nights chess
