A tightly contested match, with New Milton fielding its yougest team for many years.
Barry exchnaged B&N for R&P to destabilise white's king's position, and the counter attack posed too many problems for white to answer ... but onlu after 60 close fought moves.
Jamie held the initiative througout on his first match in B&DCL.
Ross surrendered the exchane for position, agreeing a draw when queens and knights were off the board, amd files and diagnonals weer too open to press the advanage of a pawn at the end.
Rachel accumulated mateial steadily, carefully avoiding a stalmate threat when Steve was down to the bare bones.
All in all, the match was played as ever in the best of spirits.
