A competitive and exciting match at Highcliffe this evening.
The first game to finish was on board three, a good win for Mike after a highly open middle game.
Next up, Christian won to level the score in another great ding-dong game.
On board one, after pushing a menacing pawn to the seventh rank, Bruce pulled off a hard-fought victory.
David and Mads played out a long and always-close game, the Highcliffe man agreeing a draw with seconds on the clock and repeated moves at his disposal.
