A solid win for Southbourne, although Ken and Rachel took a hard fought game to the wire before Rachel's postion fell apart.
Florence always had the edge against Ross in his first league match, and Finn took his time before John lost concentration. Board 1 saw early exchange of queens leading to infiltration by rook and knight destroying black's position.
Many thanks to Southbourne for their typical hospitality.

Good close match - Well done New Milton B
Agree with Barry's comments.
Finn and Floremce appear to have comfortable wins. Barry played well to defeat Anton to give New Milton B some hope of achieving a draw. Although Ken always looked better perhaps winning, Rachel was setting problems and Ken was getting short of time. However, he managed to navigate his way through the tactics to secure a win .
