Our board 2 was a no show. Matt stepped in a few mins after the games had started as our closest rated eligible player.

Substituted player for
Substituted player for Thornaby Dynasties was 5 rating points above the 75 rating points for the league rule 6. Teams are allowed to play a substituted player within 30 minutes of the game starting (League Rule 7), but must still abide by Rule 6, 75 rating board order rule! Thank you to Thornaby club for pointing out their error in this case (via email)! This game will still be rated and at least Nicola got a game of chess on the night!

Sorry, this was my fault. I was playing in the other match and I thought Matt was 1300 estimate off the top of my head. We didn't have an eligible player within the right rating boundary anyway, so I'm glad Matt and Nicky got a proper game. It was a good competitive match overall, well done to Billingham!
