It was one way traffic this evening, I made what turned out to be a seriously flawed knight sacrifice early on and after a sound defence from Nathan ended up the first casualty. Ron soon followed, victim to an aggressive King side assault from Greg. Rachel and Roger battled well but small errors added up giving a well deserved whitewash to Wimborne. Highcliffe still have a few cobwebs to brush off after Halloween, but an enjoyable match nevertheless. I feel we could have returned a better result if the bar had been open, but it was not to be. Congratulations to Wimborne.

Good spirits
An enjoyable evening of chess with thanks to Highcliffe for their good spirits throughout (but as Andrew has remarked in his comments, not from the bar!).
