Cedric Halbronn is a new adult player with no ECF Rating Code or membership yet. He had not played chess since his school days. ECF assigned new rating code 360814B on 30/09/2023.
Board 4 Graham Andrews (1572) - 64 below the division 5 rating limit of 1636 exactly (i.e. only just) offsets the overgrade board 1 player Eddy Hargreaves (1668) - 32 above the 1636 limit. 1636 was Woking's winning bid in the grading limit auction for Division 5, so this is by design not a fluke, nor is it related to the number of chess pieces (32) or squares (64). Board 5 Cedric whose guesstimated local rating is 1550 also ensures the Woking team complied with the Border League overgrade rule.
