Bolton and Worsley hade two matches scheduled on same same night. This stretched their resources and Swinton advised that they would not be playing the sixth team match.

As per MCF rule, Swinton & Worsley have been fined £20 and had a one match-point deduction (season penalty) for not informing their opponents and the R&R secretary more than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the match.
