Board 2 was an interesting game
Board 2 was an interesting game up until about move 18 when Phil made a couple of unforced errors which conceded a big advantage to Danny who quickly capitalised.

Board 1: "Well, this won't be ending in a draw!"
James and Colin were both clearly itching for some action, reaching an original position by move 6, with James first offering a pawn for open lines and piece activity (declined), then Colin later offering either one of two pieces for a pawn to keep James's king in the centre of the board (accepted). With smiles all round, James wrily commented, "Well, this won't be ending in a draw!". James defended accurately and eventually turned the tables to launch his own mating attack and win a very enjoyable game.
