Board One for Alnwick was Phil Eastlake (previously Morpeth). Board One for Forest Hall C was Robin Nandi. Nandi gave his rating as 1908 and so Forest Hall C were designated a Major Team while Alnwick was Intermediate. So Alnwick had a start of 1.5 points so the match score was Alnwick 2 Forest Hall C 3.5
