Two matches within a week have not split the two teams, with both home and away fixtures ending in a draw. Well done to Femi and and Barry for winning their games this evening. On board 1 I was fortunate to escape with a draw after being outplayed for the majority of the game. Thanks to Bournemouth for two evenings of competitive and friendly Chess.

Two very competitive games
Two very competitive games back to back. On board 2 I was very lucky to escape with a draw as my opponent began to run low on time. We could have easily had four decisive results and it still would have been a draw! Good games and good spirit, many thanks to the New Milton team too.
