Exciting match that ended up honours-even
4 very close games that swing one way then the other. Greg was first to finish with a neat queen attack to beat Ron, Andrew and Stuart agreed a draw in an end game where Stuart had better pawn structure, but Andrew had a Bishop pair. Roger and Michael played a complex closed game that ended in a draw by repetition, leaving the decider between Robert and George, Robert managed to pin and win a knight and played a tricky end-game well to win. Honours even which felt a fair result.
