A unique match in that all the players of the Black pieces won!
Southbourne B were also 2 - 0 up after only 45 minutes after an early mistake by Steve Culleton which allowed Jamie Doyle to win a piece on board 2 and a long but whirlwind game on board 4 where John Harris played well to win.
This left the 2 remaining Wimborne players having to dig in, survive the initial White attacks, to then fight back in the middle and endgames. Well played Bill Adaway and Pete Wilcock.
As always, the Southbourne team much appreciated the friendly welcome from the Wimborne club and especially the hot cuppa at the mid point!
