Thanks to Highcliffe for an enjoyable evening of chess. First to finish on board 3 was Barry with a win for New Milton. Highcliffe soon equalised through Ron Salinger on board 4. Board 2 finished with an agreed draw. Last to finish was board 1 - with time running out for white, a draw was agreed after a very tough match. Thanks to all for taking part.

Neil bailed on us as for some
Neil bailed on us as for some reason he played squash instead ( weird decision) Dad stepped in and played a blinder producing our only win. Thank you Tim for our excellent draw , it will take ages to pick the bones out of it. I did miss a very complicated checkmate around the 17 move mark but no human could have spotted it ! Great night cheers guys
