David lost a minor piece at the end of a complicated exchange. He tried to get back into the game, but was running out of time at the first time control.
John lost a pawn on move 18 and never really recovered. He managed to keep going until resigning on move 61
Paul was 4 pawns down in the endgame, until he managed to fork Phil's Rook and King. After that he fought on and they agreed a draw after a long battle.
Mike went into the ending with a pawn advantage, but after Jim came up with a smart move, the pawn advantage was lost and his King was so far out of play on the Queens side that he lost his pawns on the Kings side.
