Shaun Clarkson made is debut for Lytham 3 winning against John Cox in the first game to finish. However, Keith Sansom then levelled with a fine win over John Regan having a bishop and pawns against just John's pawns. Pat lost to Colin who whittled away a few of his opponents pawns and eventually queened a passed pawn for a deserved win. Finally, Bob was at an ending where he had a Rook and Pawn against Dennis's Rook but was unfortunately not able to force the win and and and a draw was agreed. This was a great fighting win for Lytham 4 against the third team.
