Dennis was worn down by Dave in the first match to finish having lost a couple of pawns early on. Pat then missed an attack on his Knight and shortly after Ken also won an exchange which enabled a second win for Poulton 2. Colin and Les finally agreed a draw with Colin having a Rook and Pawns against Leslie's Knights and Pawns. Lastly, Bob also achieved a good draw having a Bishop and pawns against Paul's Rook and Pawns.
