There were early losses for Lytham 4 on Boards 3 and 4. Colin Wilks on Board 2 played a strong game against a bishop sacrifice but eventually lost the extra piece and was overcome by John Regan. A very close game on Board 1 saw Graham Taylor in an advantageous position but short of time, so a draw was eventually agreed.

Error -Board 2 should read Colin Wilks and not Colin Liddle.
