There was an early draw on board 1 . On board 2 white sacrificed rook and pawn for 2 pieces but could not find a continuation to force an advantage and draw was agreed.
On board 4 white had control and black could not castle and despite valiant attempts black had to concede.
Final match on 3 saw strong attack by white on opponents king but Mark defended well and then counter attacked with devastating result bring home the win.
A much closer result than result suggested and Wimborne A have now just overtaken Highcliffe A at top of league.
