Result confirmed by Mark. As Ciprian rightly says above, an exciting match that could have gone either way.
At the time of posting this (Fri 14 Dec '18) of 8 results so far, 7 have ended with a score of 2.5-1.5 to either the home or away team. And mostly to the away team.

The match
What a privelage to see 8 top players fighting it out in this heavyweight clash. All the games were in the balance and if John W had accepted the offer of a draw from Eddie in an absorbing and open position the match would have ended all square. Mike had an excellent win against the in form Ian who does not lose often on BD 1. As always the match was highly competitive but played in a sporting spirit. The analysis was ongoing in the bar when I left in the witching hour called!
