From all accounts a very close match, decided on board 1 where a game between 2 of Dorset's highest graded players went in favour of Mike Waddington.
Wimborne A are the defending champions. Dorchester strengthened their A team by just having the one team in County Div 1 this season. Although other results would need to go their way, the result will give this strong Dorchester team some confidence they can challenge for the title themselves
