It was an exciting final match marking the end of the league season and Poole E needed a win to stay in Division 4.The first two boards went Poole's way; so, 2-0, but the other two boards could have gone either way, and it was with relief that a draw was offered and accepted on board 4, allowing Poole to stay up by the skin of their teeth.
Thank you, Purbeck, for a close-run, but very friendly match.

I'd also like to thank those that stepped in during the season, sometimes at very short notice, so that we could usually field a full team.
