Comments

Both teams board order based on Aug 2017 grades and accepted happily by both Captains. Grades shown on this system are Jan 2018.
Very amicable match played in a really nice village hall near Oxford.
Congratulations to Warwickshire on a good win despite having one default. Warwickshire Bd13 was Phil Bull-not on the system here, but a regular Warwickshire player.
Thanks for arranging the venue John, Owen.
Thanks to Adrian Elwin for being Arbiter.
ATB, Owen Phillips
Surrey Captain.

A closer match than the score line indicates, with several boards that could have gone either way.
The venue was also used in an U160 match - the previous week - and is just about right for a County matches. Nice and cool on a warm sunny day.
Thanks to Adrian Elwin, who provided some good input/comments regarding what players/captains can/cannot say/ask. The match passed without him needing to get too involved and was very sportingly played as is usual in these events.
Warks board 13 was Phil Bull ECF 230857F.
