Improve player performance calculation

ECF LMS question about individual player Performance for a team in a league, for example Ray Hamilton (2244) for Metropolitan 1 in London League. Are there plans to improve or remove the current simple, computationally cheap , flawed measure Performance? If not, why not?

The flaws of the existing formula are numerous: not least that a new win can result in a reduced rating for a player like Ray with a 100% score if the average rating of his relevant opponents Is reduced by the win.

IMHO a better alternative is to base the Performance calculation on an initial ECF rating and update in the usual, ECF rating, way just using games for a team in a specific league.
